You will soon be taking part in an offline or online assessment at Bijleveld & Van Vriesland.
You will be informed about the date and time of your assessment by e-mail.
You will also receive the login codes for the online tests you will take prior to the interview.
Participants in an offline assessment will also receive information about location, parking facilities and public transport.
In case of an offline assessment, the interview will take place at our office in the World Trade Center (Beurs – WTC) in Rotterdam. Sometimes the interview can also take place at the client’s location.
In an online assessment the interview will take place via video calls (Skype, Webex or MS Teams). It is important that you have one of these programs installed on your computer well in time and that the camera works properly. Moreover, it is important that you have a quiet room in which you will not be disturbed during the interview.
Depending on the assessment type and purpose, the interview will take about one hour.
You will make the capacity tests (IQ tests) at home. It is important that these are completed at the latest the day before the interview. That will give us time to assess the results. The capacity tests are time-based and often relate to analytical ability, abstraction, verbal aptitude, numerical insight and critical logical thinking.
You will also complete the personality questionnaires at home. These questionnaires are not time-based and do not have right or wrong answers. You should also complete these tests the day before the interview takes place.
If you take part in a career assessment, you will be asked to make a self-description in advance based on our format, which we will send to you by e-mail.
If you take part in a developmental assessment, you will be asked to make a self-description in advance based on our format that we will send to you by e-mail. In addition, you will participate in a 360-degree feedback, in which you will be asked to have your immediate superior and 2 colleagues fill in the format we sent you.
In an offline assessment, you will take part in a role play. In a role play, you will be supervised and observed by on. You will play the role-play together with a professional role-playing actor. The role-play will take approximately 30 minutes. It is also possible that there are feedback moments during and after the role play. The most common role-plays: leadership, advice case, presentation, conversation with colleague or client.
After the assessment has been completed, you will receive your report within the agreed term. We would like to receive permission to share the report with the client the same day. You always have the choice to block the report. In that case no report will be sent to the client. This is in accordance with the professional code of the Netherlands Institute of Psychologists.
Your details will be treated carefully and confidentially in accordance with the requirements set out in the applicable Dutch privacy law (AVG).
Your report will be kept for 1 year. After this year, all data will be destroyed.
